Secluded, scenic locations make these quaint, woodsy
cabins ideal for couples seeking a private getaway. Also great for
families who want a quiet home base form which to explore the many
attractions of the area.
Leighton
High on a cliff, with a wraparound deck, overlooking a
scenic, rocky shoreline. Leighton offers two separate sleeping areas
with extra-long double beds. There is also a double
futon in the in
the living area. Features include pine paneling, hardwood floors,
mullioned windows and stairway access to the bedrock shoreline below.
The Blue
String
One of the original Colonial cabins, it was taken off the
market years ago but recently the owners have decided to rent it again.
This cabin is very spacious with two separate bedrooms one on each end of
the cabin. There is a huge living area and a separate TV room equipped
with a large TV with satellite reception, VCR and DVD. There is a built in
fireplace a full kitchen and a huge deck over looking Lake Superior. Just
below the cabin near the lake is a swinging bench to enjoy the shore. This
cabin is very secluded and larger than any of our other cabins, it rates
the higher rental fee of $135.00 per night.
 
Swede
 |
Like a home away from home, our oldest and most rustic
cabin, Swede has it all. This is our only cabin that has separate
kitchen and living areas. There is one private bedroom with a new
Perfect Sleeper double
bed and a single bed. There is also a hide-a-bed and sofa in the
living room. Other features include wall to wall carpeting, a
free-standing fireplace, ample windows and a small deck. Swede sits
on a small hill with a big view, running down to a rocky shoreline. |
